Return & Refund Policy

At Barking Papa, we take great pride in the quality of every piece we make. Because every item is made to order — produced specifically for you at the time of your purchase — we have a carefully considered return and refund policy. Please read it fully before making a purchase.


1. Made-to-Order Policy

All Barking Papa products are made to order. This means each item is produced fresh specifically for you once your order is placed. As a result, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect size selection, or personal preference.

We strongly encourage you to review our size guides carefully before placing your order. If you have any questions about sizing, please contact us before purchasing and we'll be happy to help.


2. Damaged or Defective Items

We stand behind the quality of every item we produce. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we will make it right — no questions asked.

To be eligible for a replacement or refund on a damaged or defective item, please:

  • Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
  • Provide your order number.
  • Include clear photos of the damaged or defective item.

Once we review your claim, we will offer one of the following resolutions:

  • A free replacement of the same item.
  • A full refund to your original payment method.

3. Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days and returned to your original payment method. Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to reflect the refund in your account.

We do not offer refunds for:

  • Change of mind or buyer's remorse.
  • Incorrect size ordered (please refer to our size guide).
  • Delays caused by shipping carriers or customs.
  • Items that have been worn, washed, or altered.

4. Exchanges

Because every item is made to order, we are unable to offer direct exchanges. If you received a damaged or defective item and would like a different size or color as a replacement, please let us know when you contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request.


5. Cancellations

Orders can only be cancelled within 24 hours of being placed, as production begins shortly after your order is confirmed. To request a cancellation, please contact us immediately at barkingpapa.com with your order number.

After 24 hours, we are unable to cancel orders as your item will already be in production.


6. Lost or Stolen Packages

Barking Papa is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once they have been marked as delivered by the carrier. If your package is lost in transit, please contact us and we will work with the carrier to investigate and find a resolution.
